Make your margaritas the wood-fired way. Grilled limes and Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup pack a smokin' punch into this classic tequila cocktail.

1 | lime, sliced |
2 Tablespoon | granulated sugar |
1/2 Ounce | blanco tequila |
1/4 Ounce | fresh lime juice |
1/4 Ounce | Fresh lemon juice |
1 Ounce | smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought) |

When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 500°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Toss the lime slices with granulated sugar and place directly on the grill grate. Cook 15 to 20 minutes until grill marks develop.

Combine blanco tequila, fresh lemon juice, fresh lime juice, and Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup in a mixing glass and fill with ice. Shake vigorously to blend the flavors.

Strain over clean ice and garnish with grilled lime wheel. Enjoy!
