2 Tablespoonclarified butter, melted
1 Teaspoontoasted sesame oil
2 Cupnuts (almonds, pecans, peanuts, etc.)
1 1/2 TeaspoonCholula Chipotle Hot Sauce
1 1/2 TeaspoonWorcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoonhoney powder, optional
2 Teaspooncayenne powder, optional
1 Teaspooncinnamon, optional
1 Teaspoonkosher salt

Steps

  • Step 1

    Mix all ingredients (except salt) in a bowl and spread onto a greased disposable aluminum pan in a single layer. Optionally, for a sweet and spicy smoked nut, add 2 Tablespoons honey powder, 2 teaspoons cayenne powder and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

    • 1 Teaspoon toasted sesame oil

    • 2 Cup nuts (almonds, pecans, peanuts, etc.)

    • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Cholula Chipotle Hot Sauce

    • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

    • 2 Tablespoon honey powder, optional

    • 2 Teaspoon cayenne powder, optional

    • 1 Teaspoon cinnamon, optional

  • Step 2

    When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 250°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Smoke the nuts for approximately 1 hour, turning the nuts every 15 minutes. When they are done, remove from the grill and sprinkle on the salt.

    Once cooled, store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
