We’re giving turkey breast the Traeger treatment by roasting it to poultry perfection. Tip: allowing the meat to chill before slicing, gives you deli-style meat fit for an artisan sandwich.

When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 325°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

While the grill heats up, take turkey breast out of the package. Remove the skin. Cover breast evenly with Traeger Pork & Poultry Rub.

Place directly on grill grate and cook for one hour and 45 minutes.

Check the internal temperature of the turkey, it needs to reach 165°F. If it has not reached the desired temperature, check every 15 minutes until it has.

When it reaches 165°F, pull the turkey off the grill and let rest for 1-1/2 hours to cool.

Wrap turkey breast in plastic wrap and place in the fridge. Let it cool in the fridge for at least 12 hours.

Slice it thin with a sharp knife or deli slicer to serve. Enjoy!
