Grilled Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich

1 TablespoonCanola oil
2 MediumOnion, thinly sliced
2 WholeGreen Pepper, thinly sliced
3 Poundrib-eye steak, thinly sliced

  • Step 1

    When ready to cook, set grill temperature to High and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

    500 ˚F / 260 ˚C

  • Step 2

    Place a cast iron skillet on the Traeger and preheat an additional 15 minutes. Once the skillet is hot, pour in the canola oil and saute the onions and peppers until the onions are translucent.

    • 1 Tablespoon Canola oil

    • 2 Medium Onion, thinly sliced

    • 2 Whole Green Pepper, thinly sliced

  • Step 3

    Add the sliced rib-eye to the skillet, season with prime rib rub and cook for 4-5 minutes.

    • 3 Pound rib-eye steak, thinly sliced

  • Step 4

    Slice rolls in half and place on the grill, cut side down for 3-4 minutes or until toasted.

    Put a good amount of the steak mixture inside each roll and top with a slice of cheese. Enjoy!
