We’re taking one of Brazil’s favorite cuts of beef – picanha and letting the wood-fired flavor of your Traeger do all the heavy lifting. Just season this juicy steak with salt and serve it like the gaúcho’s do in Brazil.

Cut the picanha into steaks about 1 inch thick. Fold them in half to form a "C" shape with the fat cap on the outer edge.

Thread the steaks onto a skewer, one on top of the other. Season generously with coarse salt and leave at room temperature while the grill heats up.

When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature 500°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Place the skewered steaks directly on the grill grate and cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until desired internal temperature is reached, 130℉ for medium-rare.
