Sweet and heat ribs made easy. This recipe is foolproof, simply sear the ribs on High, reduce the temperature and cook for a little bit over two hours. That’s all it takes for perfection.

Lightly sprinkle Traeger Pork & Poultry Rub on all sides of ribs. Cover and refrigerate ribs overnight.

When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 500°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Place ribs uncovered on the hot grill and cook for 15 minutes.

Reduce grill temperature to 325℉ and continue to cook the ribs for 2 hours.

After 2 hours, check that the meat has pulled back from the end of the bones 1/4 to 1/2 inch, if it hasn’t pulled back enough, cook another 15 minutes and check again. Ribs are done when the internal temperature reaches 201℉.

When ribs are done, glaze with Traeger Texas Spicy BBQ sauce. Cook for 10 minutes longer for sauce to set.

Remove from grill and let rest 10 minutes.

To serve, slice ribs between bones and serve with additional BBQ sauce. Enjoy!
