A close relative of broccoli, rabe or rapini is lightly seasoned with sea salt, olive oil, and lemon for a vegetable dish worthy of the main course.

When ready to cook, set grill temperature to High and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

On a platter or in a mixing bowl, drizzle the olive oil over the broccoli rabe.

Use your hands, mix thoroughly, coating the vegetables evenly with the oil. Season with sea salt.

Place the broccoli rabe in one layer directly on the lowest grill grate. Close the lid and cook for 5-10 minutes. You want there to be some color and slight char on the first side. Flip and cook for a few more minutes.

Transfer the broccoli rabe to a serving platter and squeeze the juice of half a lemon evenly over the top.

Serve with more lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy!
