Simplify cooking ribs with Traeger’s Simple Smoked Ribs recipe. Start by smoking baby backs for 4 to 5 hours on your Super Smoke or Smoke setting. Then wrap the rack in foil and smother in BBQ sauce--that’s all you need to do for fall-off-the-bone perfection.

Peel membrane from the back side of ribs and trim any excess fat.

Season both sides of ribs with Traeger Pork & Poultry Rub, about 1/4 cup per rack.

When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 180℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Place ribs on the grill and smoke for 3 to 4 hours.

When the internal temperature registers between 160℉-165℉, remove ribs from the grill and increase the grill temperature to 350℉.

Place about 1/4 cup of Traeger ‘Que BBQ Sauce on a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil, then place a rack of ribs meat side down on top and wrap tightly. Repeat with each rack.

Place the wrapped ribs back on the grill and cook for 45 minutes or until internal temperature registers 204°F.
